As the Director of Enterprise Academic Reporting, Donna, along with her support staff are responsible for taking the lead in coordinating and producing the wide array of routine and ad hoc internal and external institutional research reports for audiences and agencies on and off the campus, the majority of which focus on academic and student information. In addition, her responsibilities include the provision of SAS reporting tools training for power users and the expansion and support of SAS Intelligence Specialists across the campus. She collaborates with the Associate Director of Data Warehousing in support of ETL processes for census data capture, data integration and metadata mapping related to the Banner transactional database for student and academic information. |
Coordinator of Enterprise System Reports
Stephanie is responsible for developing and deploying Enterprise System Reports
using the SAS architecture. She is required to verify and validate the accuracy
of the ad hoc institutional reports before releasing reports and information to
both on and off-campus constituencies. Stephanie also works with other areas as
necessary to develop applications to meet user needs. |
Academic Reporting Associate
Carol is responsible for providing statistical compilation and data analysis for
a wide variety of standing and ad hoc institutional reporting using the SAS environment.
She provides technical editing for EIM including preparing graphical presentations
of the results of data analysis. In addition, Carol reviews and routes request for
institutional reports to the appropriate area. She also provides office management
support. |
Enterprise Reporting Solutions Coordinator and Survey Support
Barbara maintains consistent communication across campus concerning the SAS self-service reporting environment. This includes the creation of a KSU SAS Users group to ensure that the self-service reporting options remain relevant to the Enterprise and the current environment. She also provides training and education relative to the SAS Solutions Environment. This includes group and individual training as well as the development and dissemination of on-line tutorials. She is responsible for maintaining Content Management for the reports, policies and procedures as they change related to Enterprise Academic Reporting as well as develops academic reports for the Enterprise as necessary to continue to push more self-service options to the campus and the public. Barbara is responsible for coordinating and gathering the necessary information
required to complete surveys and such as US News and World Report, Peterson’s Guide,
College Board, and the Common Data Set. |

Associate Director of Data Warehousing
As the Associate Director of Data Warehousing, Michael provides the technical expertise for the implementation, refinement, and support of KSU's data warehouse. He is also responsible for implementing, refining, and supporting KSU's data warehouse using the SAS Business Intelligence Platform as well as the SAS Solutions for Human Capital Intelligence and Financial Intelligence. In addition, the Associate Director of Data Warehousing assists with the construction of ETL and data integration jobs according to predefined business requirements to support KSU information reporting initiatives from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SunGard Higher Education Banner, Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials, and ADP Ev5. Working closely with other EIM Director’s, Michael is responsible for translating business requirement documents into physical data designs/models within the SAS Business Intelligence Platform and SAS Solutions as well as Oracle and MySQL databases. |
SAS Business Intelligence and Data Integration Coordinator
He/She is the primary point of contact on the QAS (Quick Address Software) used to clean-up and validate addresses in KSU’s SunGard Higher Education Banner, Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials, and ADP Ev5 databases. In addition, he is responsible for the overall management of business intelligence metadata and its use in reporting and analytics utilizing the SAS Business Intelligence Platform. He/She serves as the metadata administrator for KSU's Data Warehouse, data marts, and transactional databases such as Banner and Oracle/PeopleSoft. He is also responsible for working on data governance issues and maintaining consistent data definitions, data mappings, data dictionaries, and analyses as well as managing user account creation and controls for the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Suite for Higher Education (EISE). |
Data Warehouse Analyst and Developer
The position is responsible for web-based application development in EIM utilizing Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft ASP.NET languages. He/She plays a secondary role in Oracle database administration as well as troubleshooting issues with EIM’s Oracle databases. As a Data Warehouse Analyst and Developer, the position also manages the upgrades, patches, and security for all EIM Oracle databases and acts as the primary liaison for systems administration issues with Information Technology Services (ITS). His/Her other duties include ensuring the dynamic KSU Fact Book data mart is up-to-date with accurate and relevant information. |
